Welcome Sarah Kinney

Please join us in welcoming Sarah Kinney to our Hey Team. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities with a degree in Bioproducts & Biosystems Engineering, focusing on Ecological and Environmental Engineering. She is from the Twin Cities and has worked as a water resources engineering intern and a site design engineer.

 In Sarah’s previous roles, she produced plan sets for school, park, residential, and retail sites. She has experience in writing erosion control and stormwater management plans, grading, stormwater design, permitting, and conceptual planning. She enjoys creating connections with clients and colleagues, collaborating to maximize environmental benefit while minimizing project cost, improving drainage efficiency, and reducing disturbance area. She is excited to bring her curiosity and enthusiasm to her new role. Sarah loves to learn, especially about ecosystems and nature-based solutions. She also enjoys biking, hiking, yoga, and maintaining her large collection of plants.
